July 30, 2010 Welcome to the River Valley Growth Council Website Our Mission Statement The River Valley Growth Council (RVGC) is a corporation organized under the laws of the state of Maine for the purpose of encouraging and assisting the economic and commercial development of the Andover, Byron, Canton, Carthage, Dixfield, Hanover, Mexico, Peru, Roxbury and Rumford area, also known as the River Valley region. The organization meets to create, plan, and manage economic development ideas, and to promote new employment opportunities through industrial and commercial diversification.
